Clubs are important for the students’ social development. They also enable the students to socialize and to experience the democratic process first hand and to manage teamwork.
Clubs for 2nd 3rd and 4th Graders
Book Worm Club : It is run by Nimet Demir. The aim is to encourge students to read more books.
Good Speech Club 1 : It is run by Mustafa Şahin. The aim of this club is to improve students’ oral skills.
Junior Mini-Turkish Club : This club is run by Halide Ülke.
Maths Club 1 : Maths club is run by Bayram Turan. Students have fun with Maths.
Junior Inventors Club: It is run by Hilmi Doğan.
Photography Club 1 : It is run by Selim Gürgenç. The aim of the club is to teach the art of photograpy. Students take photos for the given theme.
Gymnastic Club : This club is run by Seda Efeçınar. They prepare gymnastic shows.
Dance Club : Dance club is run by Fitnat Polat and Övgü Coşkun. Students prepare dance shows.
Folk dance Club : It is run by Canan Yalçın and Tülay Tokyay. Students in this club can learn different regions’ dance-folk dance.
Make your own toy : It is run by Serpil Ünsal. The aim of the club is to make students more creative. They use their imagination and creativity and make their own toys.
Music Club 1 : It is run by Gamze Şakiroğlu. Students join the chorus and sing songs for the school chorus.
Art and Handcraft 1 : It’s an English club that is run by English teachers Linda Sarıalp and Şebnem Muğaloğlu. Students make different crafts with the given materials. They use their imagination and produce diffrent projects.
English Drama Club 1 : It is run by English teachers N. Oya Göğer and Deniz Dikmen. Students prepare different plays and act their roles.
Puzzle Club is run by Şule Kocael and Mürüvet Lokmacı. They make puzzles and have fun !
Garden Games Club is run by Emine Özbek. Students learn enjoyable garden games.
Art Club 1 : It is run by Müge Yardemir. They enjoy using their art skills and produce amazing paintings and pictures.
Chess Club : It is run by Hatice Yaman, Gamze İlter. The aim is to learn how to play chess and improve chess knowledge.
Atatürk Club 1 is run by Arife Baksoy. The aim of the club is to identify and present Atatürk’s principles and to make students preserve Atatürk’s rights and values for future generations.
Turkish Drama Club is run by Saadet Yılmaz, Nurten Demiral and İlknur Gümüşlü. Students perform their acting skills and produce different plays.

Literature Club : This club is run by Elvan Akkan. They learn and read some of the most important masterpieces in literature.
Tourism Club is run by Gülden Yılmaz. They organize school trips to some touristic places.
Health-Nutrition and Temperance Union Club is run by Nihat Ulus. In this club the importance of healthy life is pointed out. Students learn more about how to lead a good life.
Traffic and First-aid Club : It’s run by Öznur Polat. The aim of the club is to teach traffic regulations and some knowledge about first aid.
Atatürk Club 2 : It’s run by Naciye Serbest. The aim of the club is to identify and present Ataturk’s principles correctly, to attend intellectual activities, and to preserve the values of the Turkish for future generations. The members desire to become leaders, celebrating Ataturk’s ideals through cultural events.
Protecting Nature and Environment Club is run by Ahmet Yılmaz. Students learn more about how to protect environment.
German Club : It’s run by Çiğdem Morilipınar. This club aims to make students have fun and enjoy learning German.
Computer Club : This club is run by Gökay Çalışkan. Students learn how to make a website and learn more about computer programmes.
European Club : It’s an English club that is run by English teachers Zuhal Yıldırım and Ümmügülsüm Acı. In this club, students have the opportunity to learn about different cultures and share their ideas by means of different e-twinning projects.
Music Club 2 ( Orchestra Club ) is run by Hüseyin Köşker and Müge Taylan. Students join the chorus and sing songs for the chorus and they learn to play some musical instruments.

The Disabled People’s Assosiation is run by Rüveyda Soyışık. Students in this club become more aware of the difficulties that the disabled go through.

Eco School Club is run by Aslıhan Orhan. As a part of international projects,students learn more about how to protect the environment and inform other students.
English Drama Club 2 : This is the second English Drama club run by Emine Paylan and Münibe Yazıcı. Students prepare and perform some English plays.
TED Club : It’s run by Meral Akdeniz.
Young Journalist : It’s run by Halime Yumin and Meltem Kılınç, Ülkü Özcan and Miles Kentish. As an English Club,students prepare a newspaper called “TED Express” that includes news about our school.
TED Music Stars is an English club run by Esin Uzunefe and Fatma Baysal.Second level of the club is for 8th grades and it’s run by Nilüfer İndap and Esra Hasoğlu. They prepare English chorus to perform in English Fest.
